National Equipment and Machinery Organization (NEMO)
The National Equipment and Machinery Organization (NEMO) was established in 1992 under the National Housing Development Authority (NHDA) to provide equipment and machinery to government organizations. In 2011 the NEMO was brought under the State Engineering Corporation of Sri Lanka (SEC) as the Equipment and Machinery Division and in January 2016 the NEMO was once again made an individual organization by a Cabinet approval.

The staff consists of employees including printing professionals, skilled workers and labourers. Further, it has a fleet of heavy machinery, island-wide depot system which caters to all the districts of the country and fully-fledged mechanical workshops in all provinces of the country.
